Description
BZM Mountain Trails Sierra del Rincón is a route in stages of authentic MTB that runs through the Sierra Norte de Madrid, the so-called Sierra Pobre. It crosses three valleys, the Lower Lozoya Valley, the Sierra del Rincón and the Middle Lozoya Valley. It has an itinerary of 207 km with a positive difference in altitude of 5,600 meters. It goes through picturesque places such as El Pinarcillo de Buitrago, El Villar dam, El Collado de El Salinero, El Hayedo de Montejo, La Hiruela, El pico Tres Provincias, Puerto de Somosierra and La Acebeda. It has sections of authentic mountain biking, with technical and fast ramps, climbs for climbers, canyons and roads on the edge of the valley, rustic trails, wooded tunnels, river fords, high mountain sections, and some sections that are best done on foot. The tourism and rest is done in towns prepared for authentic nomads of the BTT and in some unknown as Puebla de la Sierra. It is the route par excellence in the Sierra Norte de Madrid.

ITINERARY
This route runs in the Sierra Norte de Madrid, starting in the Valle Medio del Lozoya, passing through the Valle Bajo del Lozoya and ending in the Sierra del Rincón. All this corresponds to the so-called Sierra Pobre de Madrid. It is a route of 207 km with a positive difference in altitude of 5,600 meters. It does not have great complexities for navigation, it has intense climbs in hardness and effort and dreamy descents, some for the speed and others for techniques. It crosses moors and spectacular landscapes. Great views are enjoyed from the tops of the valleys and canyons. Tunnels of native trees along trails and roads. Of rustic and tourist towns. Of the freshness and the hardness of the high mountain and of the ports, cols and peaks of the itinerary.

Via GPS is simple following the tracks. There are some more complex sections that are marked where you have to slow down and pay extreme attention. It is advisable to carry several GPS in the group. The navigation is never precise since it has an accuracy of +-5 meters, which can lead to mistakes in some cases.
It depends on the habit of cycling in a group. The minimum would be 2. Optimal between 4 and 6. The maximum between 7 and 8. Remember that the routes last between 5 to 7 hours, the rest is spent in the hotels and towns.
There are several atroches in almost all the routes, which must be perfectly loaded in the GPS.
It is advisable to arrive at the route trained, strong, with good cardio and good respiratory rhythm.
Mainly tracks, trails and roads. Scarce asphalt and only in the towns, some crossroads and small segments between sections. Some sections of high mountain and some small trialera. In general, the terrain is not very well trodden due to the lack of traffic in the area.

It is recommended to remove the wifi, bluetooth and data during navigation to avoid wasting the battery. Carry the contact information of the route and the rest of the bikers.
